Frequently asked questions
Will you come to my venue?
Absolutely, Nicola will always arrive early to ensure everything is set up and ready to go.
How long will it take on the morning of the wedding?
This all varies, depending on the style you have chosen, if we are adding in additional extensions or fullness and volume. I will go through timings with you at your trial.
Should I wash my hair on my wedding day?
Depends on your hair type, style you are having on the day. I usually prefer to work with very clean, very dry hair, no product and hot heat application. So I would recommend the night before or morning of blow drying your hair with a round brush, but you know your own hair best. If it gets greasy quickly, you will feel more confident by washing it on the day.
How far in advance should I book my trial?
You can book your trial at any time. However we recommend your trial to take place 4-6 weeks before your wedding day. Nicola opens up her diary for trials 6 months in advance.
When is the best time to colour my hair?
It’s recommended a week to 10 days before the wedding to give your hair time to settle.
My hair is fine and midlenght. How do I add body to my dream look ?
Clip-in extensions are a great way to boost your looks. I can do a trial run with them if this is something you would like to try or I can offer hair extensions.
What styles would suit my face shape ?
Complimenting your face shape is all about balance. Oval face shape will suit most styles; Square and round faces will benefit from height on the crown, witch creates an ilusion looking longer. Long faces need width, hearth shapes need width at the jaw line, layers work well heare.
